She is currently Majoring in Finance and Operations Information Management (OPIM) at the University of Pennsylvania, the Wharton School, Class of 2011/rising Senior. This summer she serves as an Analyst at Citi-Risk Management in New York City. She plans to obtain a full time offer at the end of the summer and being in New York city for the next few years. Some of her most memorable moments while at the Solosoli studios was performing in all the recitals and some of her achievements was being appointed Principal 2nd Violinist for the San Diego Youth Symphony for 2 years. He is currently attending Harvard University; A.B. In Mathematics and New England Conservatory; M.M. In Violin Performance (2011). He graduated from Harvard in 2010, Summa Cum Laude, Highest Honors in Mathematics. His memorable moments while in Solosoli studios: “I don't remember a particular moment very well, but I definitely remember Hernan's musical and gentle teaching.” Some of Michael's achievements while with Mr. C was appearing as soloist with the San Diego Chamber Orchestra, now Orchestra Nova, in 2006, and in August and September of 2005; Concertmaster, SDYS International Music Camp, 2005, 2006; Concertmaster San Diego Youth Symphony (SDYS) and Philharmonia, 60th season, 2006-06; recipient of the Jefferey Dan Sollender Concertmaster’s Chair Scholarship, 2005; Winner of Keyboard Division of Musical Merit Scholarship Auditions; Fenstermaker scholar, 2005; 1st place, H.B. Some of his most memorable moments while at the Solosoli studios was learning the Prokofiev Violin Concerto and memorable achievements was being appointed Concertmaster of SDYAS and Philharmonia Orchestra. He is currently serving as an Investment Analyst with MIT Investment management Co. He is currently in High School. Some of her memorable moments while at the Solosoli studios was having her regular lessons and playing the Viennese ball with the Young Artist Symphony. Her goal is to be able to go back to the United States and continue her lessons with Mr. Constantino..........................................................................................................................................................Miren Edelstein - graduated from high school in 2007and studied with Mr. C for over 2 years. She is going to be a senior at UC Berkeley, majoring in Psychology and minor in music. Her most memorable moments while at the Solosoli studios was performing in all the recitals and just the lessons overall. She enjoys having talks with Mr. C during her lessons. Some of her achievements was being appointed Concertmistress of the San Diego Youth Symphony in her senior year of high school and winning 3rd place in the SDYS concerto competition. Currently she is conducting research on attention/perception with regards to synesthesia in the Cognitive Neuropsychology lab at UC Berkeley as well as devising an honors thesis on absolute pitch which she will complete her senior year. This summer of 2010, she is back in San Diego playing violin as a musician intern at the La Jolla Playhouse in their upcoming production of A Midsummer Night's Dream..........................................................................................................................................................Lisa Kim - graduated from high school in 2007 and studied with Mr. Constantino for 7 years. She is currently attending the Julliard School of Music with Mr. C’s former teacher, Hyo Kang and David Chan. She will be a senior next school year. Her memorable moments while in Solosoli studios: “I can't pinpoint a specific memorable moment, but one important thing I remember that helped me as a player was that you were always helping us play better through constant encouragement. It helped players like me to be confident with our playing.” Some of Lisa’s achievements while with Mr. Constantino was: “When I won the San Diego Symphony Concerto competition and got to play on stage with you and finally got to shake your hand as a soloist. That performance really sparked my interest to go into music. Never felt so alive on stage before then.” This summer of 2010, she will be attending the Norfolk Chamber Music Festival in Connecticut. She is currently in the process of learning different ways to improve her violin playing, and hopes to perform more throughout the next years.
